Prerequisite: None

Course Length: 1 Semester
Course Goals:
-
To create cel animations
using a variety of sources; computer drawings, pictures
taken with the digital camera, and scanned images.

To demonstrate an understanding
of the following photography shots; long-range, mid-range,
close-up, extreme close-up, bug's eye view, and bird's
eye view.

To begin
to develop the skill of drawing with a purpose, communicating
using pictures and without words.

To encourage creativity and
experimentation as students learn to animate on the
computer

To
further develop skills in the following areas; problem
solving, risk taking, organization, logic and patience.
Evaluation: |
Class Requirements:
1. Come to class on time
and be prepared to work. Any
class work not completed during class time must be finished
outside of class.
2. Personal use of the Internet
or email is NOT allowed
during class time.
3. Treat equipment with
care; your workstation is your responsibility.
4. Respect one another’s
workspace.
5. Follow computer room rules.
