| The High School Jazz Band meets every other day. It is an elite group of musicians and auditions may be needed. We play a wide variety of Big Band Jazz, Latin Jazz, Be-Bop, and Funk. Everything from Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock and many more are covered. We perform at the Paramount, The Flynn Theatre, and community events. We have also had the pleasure of performing with Latin Grammy winner Oscar Stagnaro. The music is very challenging and requires about four years of experience on an instrument.
